Ben joined the Hale team just over a year ago and has become a familiar, friendly face in the South King Street shop since it opened. As a vaper himself, he is one of our go-to's for vaping knowledge, and if you pop in for a chat with him, we're sure you'll see why.

So Ben, let's start off with the vaping side of things, how long have you been vaping?

Nearly 2 years now, I've saved a fortune on smokes. I've gotten into the hobbyist side of things a bit more now though!

You were a Hale customer before you joined the team, what made you come to us?

I had to quit smoking because I had a fairly bad chest infection, I chose Hale because I looked into it and they made products in Ireland and were locally available to me.

What's your current set up?

I use a fair few different ones. I use CBD a fair bit in the Aspire Breeze 2 and the Havana Gold 20mg in my Hale Flare Tank!

What do you like about working for Hale?

The people. I love interacting with people on a day to day basis and being able to help them quit smoking is a bonus. Meeting different kinds of people I guess. It's different from any other retail job.

What do you recommend for someone looking to get off the smokes?

The Hale Flare. I've about 3 of them, no mess and no fuss it's the handiest and cheapest vape I've ever had that I still use daily.

Little bit more personal now, let's get to know you! Who is your favourite band?

Pearl Jam, hands down.

What do you get up to in your spare time?

I was a barman just before I started working for Hale, so alcohol plays a part in most of my activities, I do like watching movies though (with alcohol).

What's your Netflix recommendation then?

The Punisher is definitely one to check out if you haven't seen it yet.
